The Therapy Space
A Warm, Child-Friendly Environment
My therapy studio, The Sunflower House, is a welcoming and nurturing space designed for children to feel at ease. It provides a comfortable setting where they can play, explore, and express themselves at their own pace.

During play therapy, what your child shares is kept confidential. This means that I will not disclose details of what happens in session unless it’s necessary for their safety or well-being.
A Child-Centred Approach
Children Take The Lead
In my sessions, children take the lead. They choose how they want to play and express themselves, in a safe and supportive environment. Through play, they can explore emotions, build their resilience, and develop confidence.

Child-Centred Play
Children choose how they want to play and express themselves.
My Background & Qualifications
From Early Years Teacher to Play therapist
Before becoming a play therapist, I spent many years as an Early Years Teacher, helping children learn and grow in a school setting. My experience in education gave me deep insight into child development, emotional well-being, and how to support children facing challenges in school.
Through my work, I saw first-hand how emotional and social difficulties can impact learning, and I became passionate about creating a space where children’s emotional needs are met just as much as their academic ones. This led me to train as a play therapist, where I now focus on providing a safe, nurturing environment for children to process emotions and build resilience.
